In this early morning workshop, we'll explore how to identify common and not-so-common resident birds on the nature-rich edge of Brighton.
Each ‘walkshop’ includes:
Before the day, access to step-by-step audio lessons on how to identify five key woodland species by sound
A gentle 2-hour walk around the woodland or downland edge at Stanmer Park
Potential species encountered will include Corn Bunting, Skylark, Grey Wagtail, Firecrest, Goldcrest, Mistle Thrush, Nuthatch, Green Woodpecker, Robin, Blackbird, Dunnock, Stock Dove, common finches, crows & tits.
A sit-down Q&A session to end the morning (option for refreshments at The One Garden)
Easy access by bus, rail, bike or car
